1. Research, conservation and replenishment of the gene pool of rice and rice rotations.
2. Restoration of rice breeding and rice crop rotations.
3. Preparation of primary material (hybridization) for breeding work of rice and rice rotations.
4. Study of genetics of quantitative properties of yield, stability and quality of rice grain and semolina.
5. Retraining of agricultural specialists through CRH in “Kyzylorda”, providing scientific orientation and orientation of students of universities and colleges.

2. Marzhan variety zoned in Kyzylorda region in 1987 (authors: A.A. Kuramysov, K. Bakiruly, G.A. Vereshchagin, K.A. Alimbetov),

3. The variety ASH-16 was released in the southern districts of the region in 1992 (author: A.A. Shakiev).

4. Aral-202 variety released in 2006 (authors: A.N. Podolskikh, S.M. Baibosynov, K. Bakiruly, T.K. Karlykhanov).

7. A new effective method of breeding work has been developed. This method combines the types of mutual and cross pollination, modern genetic analysis, natural and artificial selection. Patent No. 9866 dated 15.02.2001 issued to the Inventive Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan for “Method of sorting high-yielding cereals” was obtained.
