Korkyt ata Kyzylorda University is implementing a major project “Program-targeted financing” in the direction of using tree seedlings and forage crops for irrigation by cleaning dirty water. As a participant in this project, Dauren Akhmetov, a citizen of Kazakhstan, Doctor of Technical Sciences, who has been working in Japan for more than 30 years and lecturing at universities in this country, came to Kyzylorda on a business visit. .
Project manager Serikbai Omirzakov, Chief Researcher of the Department of Agrotechnology, Land Reclamation and Soil Science of the Kazakh Rice Research Institute named after Yu.Zhakaeva, met the guests with the staff of the Rice Institute and told about the progress of the project. the project, its goals and objectives, as well as expected results.
Agriculture is one of the drivers of our region’s economy. However, in recent years, the deterioration of the climate, the problem of desertification and the rest of Baikonur have brought great changes to the environment. It was said that it is quite possible to normalize these processes using technologies and medicines from developing countries.
In general, in the course of close scientific work in 2014-2017 with a Japanese company, where scientists from the Dauren Farabi-ul Rice Institute worked, automated weather station devices were installed in our experimental field. In the future, these relations will be continued, and work will be carried out in the direction of water conservation in agriculture, wastewater treatment with biological preparations, re-irrigation of crops and the introduction of other advanced Japanese technologies into production.
