As part of the budget program to increase the accessibility of education and scientific research, the Ibyrai Zhakayev Kazakh Rice Research Institute organized a seminar on the topic “The impact of automation and irrigation accounting on saving water resources and increasing rice yields”, which brought together farmers in the region and introduced new technologies. Zhanuzak Baymanov, Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Institute:
– This seminar is very relevant nowadays. This is due to the fact that water saving, irrigation management and automation are becoming a time requirement. Moreover, it is obvious that the southern regions experiencing water shortages are not indifferent to this topic. Therefore, our institute, together with the farm “Er-Ali”, took up a new technology and intended to introduce it to other farmers. I believe that the representatives of the farms who took part in the seminar were active and understood the essence of the problem. In particular, he realized that water conservation technology will be one of the main goals in the future, and it is imperative to use this important technology to provide subsidies,” Zhanuzak Nurdildauli said.
